Who is Nikkita Lyons?
American professional wrestler, martial artist and musician Faith Jefferies, perhaps known better by her ring names Nikkita Lyons and Faith the Lioness, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada USA on 5 August 1999, making Leo her zodiac sign. She’s today signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and performs for the professional wrestling program NXT under the name Nikkita Lyons, while she had previously wrestled as Faith the Lioness for Women of Wrestling (WOW).
Education and early life
Nikkita was raised an only child in Las Vegas, by her deeply religious Christian parents whose names and professions haven’t been disclosed, however, it’s believed that Nikkita’s father’s a successful businessman, and her mother a housewife. She occasionally features her parents in her Instagram pictures, and has revealed that they are both highly supportive of her wrestling career.
Nikkita was only four years old when she began appearing in national commercials, and at the same age began practicing Taekwondo, earning her black belt after four years. She then became interested in acting, and honed her skills at the Screen Actors Guild.
Nikkita studied at Golden Valley High School and was physically highly active during her time there, as she wrestled, ran track, and played handball. She matriculated in 2017 and then began pursuing a wrestling career rather than a college degree.
Career as a wrestler
Nikkita began training under American professional wrestler and coach Selina Majors, aka Bambi in 2018, and began wrestling for WOW in the following year; she won a couple of matches in the next two years, which attracted the attention of WWE representatives, who invited Nikkita to sign a developmental contract with them.
Nikkita’s WWE debut was on 31 December 2021, when she lost to Amari Miller in an episode of the wrestling show “205 Live”; her NXT debut was her win against Kayla Inlay on 22 February 2022.

Nikkita began feuding with Lash Legend in April, and defeated her on both 5 and 26 April; she and American professional wrestler Brianna Coda – aka Cora Jade – then defeated Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson and Lash in a tag team match at Spring Breakin’.
She entered the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament in May, winning her first round against Arianna Grace, but then suffered an injury and had to leave the tournament; she returned to NXT on 28 June, when she faced and won by disqualification against Mandy Rose, a former NXT Women’s Champion.
On 19 July, Nikkita entered the 20-woman battle royal, and although she managed to eliminate two wrestlers, she was defeated by Tiffany Stratton. She and American professional wrestler Theresa Serrano – aka Zoey Stark – then teamed up to compete in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship held in August, but had to be removed from the competition because the first matches were to be held in Canada, and Nikkita couldn’t enter the country because she wasn’t vaccinated against COVID-19. The two reunited for the NXT 2.0 One Year Anniversary Show held on 13 September, and beat Arianna and James Grace; then entered the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship in November, but lost to Katana Chance and Carter.
Nikita next faced her teammate Stark on 20 December and lost, and most recently, on 24 January 2023, she suffered an injury during an NXT episode.

Nikkita launched her YouTube channel – ‘FaithyJ (Nikkita Lyons WWE)’ – on 23 January 2023, and close to 12,000 people are today subscribed to it, while all her videos combined have been watched more than 450,000 times. She uploads mostly videos which feature her wrestling and singing, and we’re going to mention three of the most popular amongst these, which’ve helped Nikkita build herself a fanbase on the video sharing service.
Her #1 video “Nikkita Lyons (WWE) as The Lioness vs The Beast ~ Sneak Peek WOW-Women Of Wrestling 2019” has been watched more than 170,000 times since 1 February 2019, and features her facing The Beast in WOW.
