Lauren ‘Lolo’ Wood was born on 13 March 1993, in Texas, USA. She’s a fitness trainer, social media star, and actress, but perhaps known best for being the girlfriend of the famous football player, Odell Beckham Jr. She first came into the limelight as one of the stars of the popular MTV show “Wild N’ Out”.
Career and personal
Lauren appeared on Nick Cannon’s improv comedy show “Wild N’ Out” from 2014 through 2016. The show premiered on MTV in 2005, and has since become one of the network’s longest-running and most successful series. The format involves two teams, the Red Squad and the Black Squad, competing against each other in a series of comedy games and rap battles.
During her time on the show, Lauren gained a significant following on social media, which helped her launch a career as a fitness trainer and influencer. Today, her Instagram account ‘@lolowood_’ numbers more than 1.8 million followers, on which she frequently posts videos of her workouts, along with more casual photos with her son and boyfriend. She has also been collaborating with several fashion and fitness brands in recent years, including Fashion Nova, Novex, and Hot Miami Styles.
In 2019, Lauren made a brief comeback to TV, appearing in an episode of the sports comedy-drama series “Ballers”, which starred Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson and John David Washington.
Relationship with Odell Beckham Jr.
Lauren and Odell announced their relationship to the public in an Instagram post from 5 November 2019, which was also Odell’s 27th birthday. It’s not exactly clear when and how the two met and start dating, since they both like to keep a low profile, but it appears that they he’d been in a relationship for a few months prior to the announcement.
They made their red carpet debut three months later, at the February 2020 Oscar Party hosted by the magazine “Vanity Fair” in Beverly Hills, California. It was Lauren’s first time on the red carpet, and she didn’t disappoint, wearing a luxurious emerald green dress designed by Elie Saab.
Over the next few months, the couple quarantined together in Odell’s mansion in Los Angeles, California.
Being a mother
In 2021, fans started speculating that the couple might be expecting a baby soon, after noticing that Lauren has what appears to be a baby bump in some of her Instagram photos. She confirmed the rumors in November of the same year, sharing the photos from her maternity shot on social media.
Lauren and Odell welcomed their son they named Zydn on 17 February 2022, four days after Odell’s Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl. A week after giving birth, Lauren took to social media to thank her boyfriend, their mothers and her midwife for helping her through pregnancy and labor.
The baby made his first public appearance on the 2022 ESPY Awards red carpet, accompanied by his parents. The whole family wore matching black and white outfits, while Zyne was dressed in a tiny tuxedo.

Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. was born on 5 November 1992, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He’s a professional American Football player, widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and exciting wide receivers in the National Football League (NFL).
Odell attended Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he excelled in multiple sports, including football and track. He also played soccer growing up, and considers his namesake, famous English soccer player David Beckham, to be one of his biggest inspirations. As a football player, Odell quickly became a standout athlete, earning recognition as a four-star recruit by many of the nation’s top college football programs.
After high school, Odell enrolled at Louisiana State University (LSU), to also play for the Tigers football team. He proved himself to be a valuable asset to the team in his first season,, finishing with 41 receptions for 475 yards, and two receiving touchdowns. However, it was in his second season that he truly emerged as a college football star, finishing first on his team in receiving yards with 713, and second in receptions with 43. In 2013, Odell and his teammate Jarvis Landry formed one of the best wide receiver duos in college football. In the same year, he was named a First-Team All-American and the Paul Hornung Award winner, which recognizes the most versatile player in college football.
Odell decided to forgo his senior year of college, and declared for the 2014 NFL Draft instead. He was selected 12th overall by the New York Giants, and immediately became a fan favorite among the team’s supporters. In his rookie season, he made a name for himself with his acrobatic catches and his electrifying speed, catching 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press.

In March 2021, he was traded again, this time to the Los Angeles Rams. During his first season with the Rams, Odell helped them advance to Super Bowl LVI catching nine passes for 113 yards in a play-off game against the San Francisco 49ers. He scored the first touchdown in the Super Bowl, but unfortunately had to retreat in the second quarter due to a knee injury. Nonetheless, Odell secured his first career Super Bowl championship as the Rams held on to win 23-20 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Odell spent the 2022 season as a free agent. It’s still unclear whether he will re-sign with the Rams or join another team.
Off the field, Odell has become a cultural icon, known for his flamboyant style and his many high-profile friendships. He’s appeared in numerous fashion campaigns, and has collaborated with brands like Nike and Pepsi. He has also made several appearances in movies and TV shows, including the hit comedy series “Ballers”.
