Akira Akbar was born on 2 October 2006 under the Libra zodiac sign, in the USA. Of African-American ancestry, Akira is the second oldest in the family and has a younger sister Azari Akbar, a brother Kruz Rambo and another sister, whose name she hasn’t revealed.
Her parents are KenYon Rambo, and Kittie Wedie who is a professional stylist, and has helped her launch her career. Jackson portrayed Nick Fury. The same year, Akira appeared in the TV series “This Is Us”, then secured another popular role, as Brooke in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated TV comedy series “Family Reunion”, with Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Anthony Alabi and Talia Jackson.
In 2020, she won her biggest role to date as one of the children who team up together to save their parents from an alien invasion in the film “We Can Be Heroes”, portraying the character Fast Forward, starring next to Lotus Blossom, Dylan Henry Lau and Andy Walken among other young stars.
Most recently, Akira played Kiara in the spin-off from “The Fosters” entitled “Good Trouble”, appearing in three episodes of the popular TV comedy series. Furthermore, she is set to star in the TV drama series “Bel-Air”, as the series is currently in pre-production. This is not all, as Akira will star as Young Mackenzie in the drama film “Love You Anyway”, which chronicles the life of Mackenzie from birth to her womanhood; Reign Edwards is set to portray Mackenzie in her older years.
