Who is Chelsey Reist?

Chelsey attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2005, enrolled at Capilano University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in acting in 2009.
From an early age, while she was still in high school, Chelsey developed an interest in dancing, so after graduation, she continued to train in dancing, and eventually moved to Los Angeles, California USA, where she continued her dance training at Disneyland.

Chelsey’s first appearance on television was in 2011, in an episode of the series “True Justice”, followed by minor roles in the series “City Lights”, “The Tomorrow People” and “Psych”.
In the following years, she had some supporting roles in series such as “Miranda’s Rights”, “Aftermath” and “Supernatural”, before she was cast to play Harper McIntyre in the series “The 100” in 2018, and after that, she appeared in an episode of the series “Van Helsing”, “Morning Show Mysteries” and “A Ruby Herring Mystert”.
She portrayed Phina in the series “Flimsy”, in which she starred alongside Grace Dove and Keilani Elizabeth Rose in 13 episodes of the first season of this comedy drama, which was released on 1 August 2020.
In the same year, she was cast to play Kelsey Atkins in the series “NarcoLeap”, a science-fiction drama about college student Kelsey who, during her bouts of narcolepsy, leaps into the bodies of other people; the series had 10 award nominations, and won six, including a Webfest Award for Best Ensemble Cast, which Chelsey shares with colleagues. For her portrayal in the series, she was nominated for two Leo Awards for Best Performance by a Female in a Web Series, first in 2019, and then in 2021.
Her most recent role was in the 2021 pilot episode of the series “Foragers”, an action-adventure drama in which she portrayed Lydia Hayes.

In 2008, Chelsey made her acting debut in the short movie “The Key”, followed by her roles in other short movies, such as “Static State”, “The Compass” and “In the Key of Evil”, before she portrayed Amanda in the horror movie “Crowsnest” in 2012, which was followed by roles in the movies “Mon Ami”, “A Bride for Christmas” and “12 Rounds 2: Reloaded”.
In the following years, Chelsey made her appearance as Rachel, in another horror movie “No Tell Motel”, followed by her role as Amanda in the movie “Wandering Hearts”, in which she starred alongside Deva Middleton and Anne Schmitz, in this romantic comedy about a photographer who falls in love with a French girl during his vacation in Paris, France.

Chelsey is quite secretive when it comes to her love life – there were various rumors about her supposed relationship with Christopher Larkin, a colleague from “The 100”, however, they both confirmed that they are just close friends.
In 2020, she opened up about her relationship with the photographer and director Mark Milburn; it seems that they’ve been dating since 2016, according to posts on his Instagram account; they seem to be in a happy relationship, supporting each other in their careers, and often traveling together.
As of October 2021, they are still together, however, there are no signs of an engagement or future wedding of the two.
Hobbies, and other interests
One of Chelsey’s favorite hobbies is mountain climbing, which she enjoys with Mark, who taught her all about this sport; she also likes skiing and snowboarding.
Chelsey is into other sports too, and has been practicing boxing for a couple of years, and besides this, she works out at the gym four to five times per week.
In her spare time she likes to read, especially poetry, and one of her favorite writers is Bridgett Devoue and her book “Soft Thorns”.
