Who is Chris Geere?
Christopher William ‘Chris’ Geere was born in Cambridge, England, on 18 March 1981 – his zodiac sign is Pisces, and he holds British nationality. He’s an actor with close to 50 credits to his name, while he’s perhaps known best for his portrayal of the main character Jimmy Shive-Overly, in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy series “You’re the Worst”. It was created by Stephen Falk, also starred Aya Cash and Desmin Borges, and follows two toxic people who have fallen in love; the series aired from 2014 to 2019, and was nominated for 16 awards.
Early life and education
Chris was raised in Cambridge by his parents about whom nothing’s known, as they prefer to be left out of media; because he hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, Chris is believed to be an only child.

He became interested in acting while still attending a local high school, appearing in various plays performed at the school and a local community theatre; Chris was also into sports during his four years there, mostly focused on playing soccer, the most popular sport in Europe.
Upon matriculating in 1999, he enrolled at the University of Surrey’s Guildford School of Acting, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in acting in 2002, and Chris then appeared in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of “All’s Well That Ends Well”, starring alongside Judi Dench.

Chris made his debut TV series appearance with his portrayal of Medical Student in two episodes of the 2002 comedy “tlc”, while a couple of his following roles were in three episodes of the comedy mini-series “Trust”, two episodes of the action adventure fantasy “Adventure Inc.” and the 2004 episode “241: Desperation” of the crime drama “The Bill”.
He gained recognition in 2006, when cast to play Gunner Dean McGowan in the drama “Bombshell”; it starred Zoe Lucker, Andrew McKay and Robert Beck, and follows Major Nick Welling and Captain Jenna Marston who are managing an army unit in Britain. He attracted attention in 2012, when he played Nick in the action crime drama “Cleanskin”, written and directed by Hadi Hajaig, and which starred Sean Bean, Charlotte Rampling and Abhin Galeya. The movie follows a British secret service agent who has to find and kill a suicide bomber living somewhere in Britain; it was nominated for a single award.
The following year saw Chris play Hesper Navigator in the critically acclaimed action science fiction adventure “After Earth”, which won three of the 11 awards for which it was nominated.
