Joseph Sentielo-Fumero, better known by his professional name of David Fumero, was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn on 29 December 1972, in Havana, Cuba. Early life and education
David was raised in Miami Springs, Florida, alongside his brothers Fernando and Joel, by his mother Natalia, and father Narciso. He attended Miami Springs High School, and upon matriculating in 1990, he joined the US Marine Corps, many people are surprised to hear that, before he pursued his acting career.
It was when he launched his acting career that he changed his name, saying that it’s much easier to remember the name ‘David’ than his birth name, however, although his agent advised him to change his surname, he didn’t do that.

The two met on the set for the series “One Life to Live”, and eventually started dating. David had a recurring role in the series, so at the time when they met, he was staying there for three months, and they had an opportunity to get to know each other, but at first Melissa didn’t realize that David was her teenage crush.
The funny story about this two is that Melissa saw David for the first time when he acted in the music video for Mariah Carey’s song “Honey”; she was 13 at that time, and he was in his 20s.
