Who is Sarah Catherine Hook?
American actress, model, social media star and opera singer Sarah Catherine Hook was born in Montgomery, Alabama USA, on 22 April 1995, so Taurus is her zodiac sign. She’s appeared in six TV series and four movies, and is perhaps known best for playing the main character Juliette Fairmont in all the eight episodes of the 2022 horror mystery series “First Kill”, created by V. E. Schwab, and which also starred Imani Lewis and Elizabeth Mitchell. It follows Calliope and Juliette who’ve fallen in love, but what makes this hard for them is that one’s a vampire while the other’s a vampire hunter; the series was nominated for a BreakTudo Award for Shippde Ficcao (Sarah and Imani).

Sarah was raised alongside her brothers George and Forrest in Montgomery, by their father Hampton Hook who’s a businessman, and mother Catherine Hook who’s a housewife; not a lot else has been shared about Sarah’s family, because she respects their privacy.
She studied at a local high school and became interested in singing during her four years there, while she was also into dancing and acting with the school’s drama club, appearing in many plays performed at the school. Sarah was also passionate about sports during her teenage years, playing soccer for her high school’s team.
Upon matriculating in 2013, she enrolled at State University of New York’s Purchase College, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance: opera in 2017.
Roles in movies
Sara’s debut film role was playing Lana in the 2017 action “Brunkala”, which starred Tetiana Gaidar, Erik Aude and Sabrina Vittore, and follows retired hit-woman Laura Brunkala who swore to never kill again, but who’s now come out of retirement because her daughter’s been kidnapped.
The following year saw Sarah play Girl in the short drama “I Believe”, starring alongside Solomon Barr and Geroge Denison, and the same year saw her play a supporting character in the short drama “Living in Harmony SodaStream”.
Sarah’s only other film role has been playing the supporting character Debbie Glatzel in the critically acclaimed 2021 horror mystery thriller “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”, directed by Michael Chaves, and which starred Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga and Ruairi O’Connor. It follows the Warrens as they’re investing a murder which was probably committed by a demon.
Sarah’s currently shooting for two upcoming movies: she’ll portray Happy in the drama “The Ghost Trap”, which will follow the haunting of Jamie Eugley, and she’ll star in the drama “Blood Relative”, about two California women as they’re solving mysteries.
Roles in TV series
Sarah’s debut TV series role was playing Meghan Gale in the 2019 episode “We Dream of Machine Elves” of the crime mystery “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, which stars Ice-T, Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Melone, and which Dick Wolf created. It’s been airing since 1999, follows the work of a special New York City police unit, and the series has won 63 of its 233 award nominations.
In 2020, Sarah played Rikki in the episode “Bats” of the fantasy horror “NOS4A2”, and portrayed Natalie Roman in the pilot episode of the drama “Triangle”. Also in 2020, she played Elena Milak in the episode “Iron River, Michigan” of the fantasy horror “Monsterland”, created by Mary Laws, and which starred Kaitlyn Dever, Charlotte Cabell and Vivian Cabell. It follows a group of people as they’re struggling to survive the attacks of werewolves and fallen angels, amongst other Gothic beasts, and the series won one of its two award nominations.
Sarah’s only other TV series role has been playing Catherine Allday Davis in two 2021 episodes of the critically acclaimed biographical crime drama “American Crime Story”, created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, and which today stars Sarah Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford and Sterling K. Brown. It covers the worst of crimes committed in the USA, and the series has won 121 of its 267 award nominations.
Sarah narrated the 2020 documentary movie “Harbor from the Holocaust”.
Some of her recent talk-show appearances have been in “Made in Hollywood”, “Hollywood First Look” and “All About”.
