Who is Giselle Eisenberg?
Giselle Eisenberg was born in Poughkeepsie, New York State USA, on 7 March 2007 – her zodiac sign is Pisces, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress with 14 credits to her name, perhaps known best for her portrayal of Sophia Hughes in the critically acclaimed comedy series “Life in Pieces”. Created by Justin Adler, it starred Colin Hanks, Betsy Brandt and Thomas Sadoski, and follows a family, while telling stories of their separate lives; the series aired from 2015 to 2019, and was nominated for four awards.
Unlike popular belief, Giselle isn’t related to American actor Jesse Eisenberg.
Early life, parents and education
Giselle is being raised in Poughkeepsie alongside her older sister Julia, by their parents about whom nothing’s known, as the girls respect their privacy. Julia’s also an actress, and has appeared in the movies “Sex Tape” and “Danny Collins”, and in the hit comedy news talk-show “The Daily Show”.
Giselle became interested in acting at a very early age, and it was her mother who had noticed her impersonating the actresses and musicians she saw performing on TV. She took Giselle to an audition, and so she got to launch her acting career aged six, with her portrayal of Skylar Belfort in the popular biographical crime drama “The Wolf of Wall Street”, directed by Martin Scorsese, and which starred Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie.
It tells the story of Jordan Belfort, who stole millions of dollars from gamblers and investors, was eventually arrested and imprisoned, but then regained fame with his personal memoirs; the movie won 37 of the 221 awards for which it was nominated, including five Oscar nominations.
Giselle has since been active in the film industry. She completed her elementary education just recently in 2021, and it’s believed that she’s now going to be homeschooled, to enable her parallel career to continue.

In 2013, Giselle portrayed Hannah in the crime drama “The Ordained”, and in 2014, she appeared alongside her sister in the romantic comedy “Sex Tape”, directed by Jake Kasdan, and which starred Jason Segel, Cameron Diaz and Rob Corddry.
It follows a married couple who have made a sex tape, and now discovered that it’s disappeared; the film won two of the five awards for which it was nominated.
The same year saw Giselle portray Catherine Morales in the action crime drama “A Most Violent Year”, as well as Maggie in the comedy “Love Is Relative”. In 2015, she was cast to play Hope Donnelly in the critically acclaimed biographical comedy drama “Danny Collins”, written and directed by Dan Fogelman, and which starred Al Pacino, Annette Bening and Jennifer Garner. It follows a rock star who has just discovered a 40-year-old letter written to him by John Lennon; the movie won one of the five awards for which it was nominated.
In 2016, we saw Giselle play Gracie Foster in the romantic family drama “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, and her most recent movie role has been her portrayal of Jules in the comedy “The Enormity of Life”. Written and directed by Eric Swinderman, it stars Emily Kinney and Breckin Meyer, and follows a man who attempted to commit suicide but failed, then learns that he’s inherited a fortune from a relative.
Roles in TV series
Giselle made her debut TV series appearance in 2014, when cast to play Madison, in the episode “Wednesday’s Child” of the mystery crime drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. In the same year, she played Young Bo Adams, in the episodes “Bang and Blame” and “Beginner’s Luck” of the science fiction fantasy drama “Believe”, created by Mark Friedman and Alfonso Cuaron, and which starred Jake McLaughlin, Johnny Sequoyah and Jamie Chung in the story of a man who’s been released from prison, and is now protecting a young girl with a special power from those who are trying to steal it from her.
In 2015, we saw Giselle play Molly Jordan, in three episodes of the drama mini-series “Flesh and Bone”, which won four of the 11 awards for which it was nominated, and her most recent role has been in 2020, playing Anna-Kat Otto in 13 episodes of the hit comedy “American Housewife”. Created by Sarah Dunn, it starred Katy Mixon, Diedrich Bader and Daniel DiMaggio, and follows Katie, who’s living in a wealthy city together with her husband and three children; the series won one of the three awards for which it was nominated.
Giselle’s most recent involvement in a TV series has been her voicing of both Lollie and Dot the Cheetah, in the animated family comedy “Puppy Dog Pals”, which has been airing since 2017, and has won one of the seven awards for which it’s been nominated.

In 2016, she was also nominated for two Young Entertainer Awards: one for Best Leading Young Actress – Television Series for her performance in “Life in Pieces”, and the other for Best Supporting Young Actress – Feature Film, for her performance in “Danny Collins”.

Giselle is highly secretive when it comes to her personal matters, and hasn’t mentioned any boys (or girls) whom she has perhaps dated, although she’s still just 14, so most of her fans believe that she’s too young to be dating. However, there are also those who believe that she’s just recently begun seeing a fellow actor, as the two have apparently been spotted holding hands. Giselle hasn’t commented on the rumors, nor has any evidence been provided to support this.
She’s said to be a very social girl, who finds it easy to make friends on the sets of her movies and TV series. Giselle seems to enjoy spending time with actors and actresses who are often a lot older than her, as she believes that there are many things which she can learn from them.
