Who is Bryce Gheisar?

Bryce Gheisar was born in Plano, Texas USA, on 22 December 2004 – his zodiac sign is Capricorn, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor with 13 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of the supporting character Julian, in the 2017 family movie “Wonder”, written and directed by Stephen Chbosky, and which starred Jacob Tremblay, Owen Wilson and Izabela Vidovic. It follows the life of August Pullman, who was born with a strange face, and who’s dreaming about becoming an astronaut; the film won four of the 36 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination.

Early life and education

Bryce is being raised in Plano alongside his older brother Blake, by their father Todd Gheisar, and their mother Nicole; not a lot is known about Bryce’s family, as he respects their privacy.

He grew up being interested in gymnastics, and began practicing it aged five. Bryce started entering competitions at the age of eight, and it was around the same time that he fell in love with acting, after his elementary school drama teacher cast him to appear in a school play. He launched his acting career aged 10, in the 2015 short comedy movie “The Bus Stop”, written and directed by Justin Malone, and which also starred Max Cumberland and Mollie Milligan; it follows two boys who are following different religions, and have begun fighting because of it.

Bryce has since been acting; he’s currently attending a local high school in Plano, and should be matriculating in 2023.

Roles in movies

In 2015, we saw Bryce play Spokeskid in the short film “Perennials Fabrics: Kidding Around”, and in 2017 he played the main character Thomas, in the family adventure drama “Into the Who Knows!” It was written and directed by Micah Barber, also starred Delaney Wingrowe and Lee Eddy, and follows Thomas and his invisible pet fox Felix, who have escaped from summer camp; the movie won three awards.

The same year saw Bryce appear in the short music video “Disney Channel Stars: DuckTales Theme Song”, as well as in the critically acclaimed adventure comedy drama “A Dog’s Purpose”; it was directed by Lasse Hallstrom, starred Josh Gad, Dennis Quaid and Peggy Lipton, and follows a dog who’s looking for purpose in life. The movie was nominated for three awards.

Bryce’s most recent film role has been his portrayal of Alek (11-14), in the 2018 biographical thriller drama “The 15:17 to Paris”, directed by Clint Eastwood, and which starred Alek Skarlatos, Anthony Sadler and Spencer Stone. It tells a story of three friends who stopped a bomb from detonating on a train going to Paris, France; the movie won one of the four awards for which it was nominated.

Bryce is currently shooting for two upcoming movies: the drama “James the Second”, and the biographical drama “White Bird: A Wonder Story”.

Roles in TV series

Bryce made his debut TV series appearance in 2016, when cast to play Herman, one of the main characters in the reality comedy “Walk the Prank”, created by Trevor Moore and Adam Small, and which also starred Jennifer Aspinall and Cody Veith.

It follows four children who are pulling pranks on people; the series aired from 2016 to 2018, and was nominated for eight awards.

In 2019, Bryce played Stevie, in the episode “New Beginnings” of the action thriller drama “9-1-1”, and in 2020, he was cast to star as Elliott Combes in all the 10 episodes of the action adventure drama “The Astronauts”, created by Daniel Knauf, and which also starred Miya Cech and Keith L. Williams. It follows a group of children who have been launched into space by mistake, and are now trying to find a way to return home; the series was nominated for four awards.

Bryce’s only other TV series role has been his portrayal of the lead character Luke McCoy, in the 2021 family adventure drama “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, which follows a group of children who call themselves The Midnight Society, and are gathering nearly every night, at midnight, to tell scary stories; it has been nominated for three awards.

Bryce can be seen featured in two 2017 documentary movies: “Bryce Gheisar: The Dream Chasers Interview” and “Dream Casers”.

He has received special thanks for the 2021 short movie “Sensitarian Allstar Radio”.

Love life and relationships

Bryce hasn’t spoken of any girls (or boys) whom he has perhaps been with, as he prefers to keep the details of his love life to himself. However, there are various rumors circulating the internet concerning his current relationship status, as well as his sexual orientation.

It’s believed by many that he’s today in a relationship with Malia Baker, an American actress who’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Mary Anne Spier, in the series “The Baby-Sitters Club”, also for her performance in the series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, which was how the two met. Malia and Bryce have uploaded several pictures featuring themselves together, onto their Instagram accounts, but neither has confirmed the rumors of them dating.

There are also some who believe that Bryce is gay, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.

As of September 2021, Bryce appears to be single, and at 16 has certainly never married.

Hobbies and other interests

Bryce has already fallen in love with acting, and has been to various US states, to shoot for his movies and TV series. He’s apparently yet to travel to Europe, and is hoping that he’ll soon be able to visit his dream travel destination – London in England.

He’s into photography, and a couple of pictures taken by him can be found uploaded onto his Instagram account.

Bryce is a fashionista, as he’s trying to keep up with all the latest fashion trends, and because he goes shopping for clothes every week, he’s also a shopaholic.

He’s physically active, as he often plays soccer and tennis with his friends, while he also enjoys going running in the morning.

Bryce has his own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Al Pacino, Will Smith and Emma Watson, and a couple of his favorite movies are “Scent of a Woman”, “I Am Legend” and the franchise “Harry Potter”.

Bryce’s age is 16. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, his height is 5ft 7ins (1.7m) and he weighs around 150lbs (68kgs).

As of September 2021, his net worth has been estimated at already over $1 million.
