Mecher attended Cincinnati’s Elder High, which is a Catholic boy-prep school. He later matriculated to Northern Kentucky University to study communication and television production, and graduated with a degree in 1999. As a student, Mecher was passionate about politics, and was a member of the Board of Regents as a student representative. He came in as a student senate member for a couple of years, before he became the president of North Kentucky University Student Government Association (SGA) – he later secured an internship with Congressman Ken Lucas of Kentucky.

Psaki and Gregory were working for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee when they first met in 2006.
At that time, he was pursuing his career in DC, and was Congressman Steve Driehaus’ of Ohio’s Chief of Staff – he also worked for Rep J. Kennedy III (Massachusetts) as his Chief of Staff. According to sources, their romance was sparked when Psaki gave him wrong directions to a certain political event. He revealed during an interview with The Washington Post that ‘Years later and being married to her, I can say this is definitely not one of my wife’s strong points, directions…By the time I got there, I was wondering who the heck this person was.’ Instead of being mad over the issue, Gregory forgave Psaki as he found her very attractive, as he further revealed.
Although he was nervous about asking her on a date at first, he finally gathered enough courage and asked her out through a letter in September 2006, and she accepted.
Gregory and Psaki had a long-distance relationship for about two years before they tied the knot. He told the Post that ‘The longest we went without seeing each other was 36 days. And I counted. And it was long. And I waited.’ Their marriage was officiated by the United Church of Christ’s minister Rev. David D. Young on a Saturday evening at Woodlawn Farm, situated in Ridge, Maryland.
The duo have so far welcomed two children together, a daughter Genevieve Mecher, and a son, whose name has been kept under wraps. The duo are currently raising their children in Virginia and are seemingly living a happy life together.

Jeniffer Rene ‘Jen’ Psaki is a political advisor, who is currently serving under President Joe Biden’s administration. She hails from Stamford, Connecticut, and was born on 1 December 1978, so 43 years old, to Dimitrious R. Psaki, a former real estate developer and his wife, Eileen Medvey, a psychotherapist. Psaki attended Greenwich High in 1992, and matriculated to College of William & Mary, from which she graduated with a degree in Sociology and English in 2000. She has since worked for several notable political figures, including former president Barack Obama as his Traveling Press Secretary throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, and boasts of working for President Barack Obama as his Deputy Communications Director after he won his elections.
She also worked as a Press Secretary for Obama’s re-election campaigns in 2012, before she landed a job as a US Department of State spokesperson a year later. In 2015, she went back to the White House to work as a Communication Director and held the position until President Obama’s second term ended. She also boasted of being a CNN political commentator in 2017.
In 2020, Psaki left CNN to work for President Biden as White House Press Secretary, holding her first briefing on 20 January 2020. She announced during an interview in May 2021 that she would be departing from her current position in 2022.
