Liam Timothy Costner is an American celebrity, known to the world as the son of the two-time Oscar Award recipient actor Kevin Costner, born on 15 November 1996 under the Scorpio zodiac sign in the USA, the son of Kevin and his ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney. Liam is the only child of his parents, while on his father’s side, he has six half-siblings – Annie, Lily, Joe, Wyatt Cayden, Logan Hayes and Avery Grace Costner, from his other relationships.

His parents dated for a brief time in the mid-‘90s, following his father’s divorce from his first wife Cindy Silva. Born Kevin Michael Costner on 18 January 1955, in Lynwood, California USA, he’s the son of William Costner, who later found employment at Southern California Edison as a utility executive, and his wife Sharon Rae, who was a welfare worker.

The youngest child of his parents, he has an older brother, while the second-born child died at birth.

Of German, English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh ancestry, Kevin was raised as a Baptist, and sang in the First Baptist Choir while in school. He also took piano lessons, and played football in high school. His father’s job forced them to move around often, and he ultimately graduated from Villa Park High School, then enrolled at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), from which he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and finance.

During his time at CSUF, Kevin became interested in acting and began taking lessons, and after meeting noted Welsh actor Richard Burton on a ‘plane by chance, he was encouraged by the prominent actor to start pursuing his own career.

He worked at a marketing agency as an executive, while attending acting lessons five times a week.
