Her company promotes economic and cultural harmony through artistic programs, services, products, and information, and is also supporting various non-profit organizations.

Love life and relationships

Manuela has been involved in many controversies and affairs – perhaps her exotic look was the reason for her to be romantically linked to various celebrities, however, it’s known that she was in a relationship with Stephen Marshall from 1996 until 2001 when she met Prince, and they married in that year.

The marriage with Prince lasted for five years until their divorce in 2006, then in 2009, she met her future husband Eric Benet, the ex-husband of famous actress Halle Berry.

Manuela and Eric married on 31 July 2011, and on 21 December 2011 welcomed their first daughter Lucia Bella Jordan, while their second daughter Amoura Luna Jordan was born on 13 July 2014.

As of February 2022, the two are still married and enjoy raising their daughters.

Marriage with Prince

There were various rumors concerning her relationship and marriage with Prince; one of them was saying that Prince cheated on his then-wife Mayte Garcia with Manuela, since soon after they divorced, Prince married Manuela. Rumors were saying that Manuela is a gold-digger since she was 24 years old, and Prince was in his forties.

Mayte wrote in her book “The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince” that Manuela was stalking Prince. According to her, Manuela was writing messages to Prince saying that she wants to work for his charity organization, and that is how they met. Mayte has also written that Manuela used Prince’s emotional weakness since they lost their son, Amiir, who was born with Pfeiffer syndrome, and after that, they had some issues in their marriage.

On the other side, Manuela spoke about how she met Prince saying that she was attempting to get help to save a woman’s shelter that was under the threat of being shut down, and Prince was the only one who responded to her. After five years of marriage, in 2006,started rumors about their relationship, soon confirmed when Manuela filed for the divorce; according to court documents, unsealed despite Manuela’s attempt to stop it, the two lived a life of luxury, spending over $50,000 for parties, and Manuela paying $5,000 for the stylist to do her hair and make-up for one of the Grammy’s Award ceremonies.

They had un-limited accounts at boutiques such as Valentino, Versace, and Gucci, and Manuela had a salary from his charity organization where she worked as a consultant.

He was a world-famous singer and multi-instrumentalist, who rose to prominence after releasing his sixth album “Purple Rain” in 1984, which was the soundtrack for his eponymous movie. He made his acting debut in this Oscar-awarded romantic musical drama movie, acting alongside Morris Day and Apollonia Kotero; it had 11 award nominations and won seven, including the Oscar for Best Music, Original Song Score.

During his life, Prince released 39 albums, and also wrote for other artists – he sold over 150 million albums worldwide, which ranked him among the best-selling music artists of all time. He won seven Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Award, Oscar, six American Music Awards, and four Music Television (MTV) Awards.

Prince was known for his wide vocal range, his androgynous appearance, and as a multi-instrumentalist who played piano, guitar, drums, clarinet and bass, among others.

He performed on 14 April, but while flying home he passed out, and his private jet made a landing in Moline, Illinois where he was hospitalized, but as soon he felt better he left the hospital, despite medical advice to stay.

On 21 April 2016, Prince was found dead in the elevator of his house – according to paramedics he was dead for at least six hours before he was found by a doctor who had flown that morning to give him a medical exam; the autopsy showed that Prince died of an overdose of fentanyl.

At the time of his death, Prince was 57 years old, and his net worth was estimated at $163 million. Since he wasn’t married at that time and didn’t children, his heirs are his sister Tyka Nelson, and his five half-siblings – perhaps unsurprisingly, his estate is still in probate.
