Mathew started his career in comedy in 2000, and soon teamed up with Bruce to create the Mat and MacKinnon comedy duo. They performed in the Edinburgh Festival for their first time during the same yea,r and he was noticed by Catherine Tate, an English writer, comedian and actress, who later took on Horne to appear in “The Catherine Tate Show.” Since then, Mathew has made many appearances in C. Tate Nan Specials – he reprised his role as Jamie in two of these special episodes in 2015.
