An actress and writer, Erica Schmidt was born under the zodiac sign of Gemini on 8 June 1975, in the USA, but her exact birthplace hasn’t been revealed. Speaking about her educational background, Erica attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 1993, she enrolled at Vassar College, in Poughkeepsie, New York State, from which she graduated in 1997, with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Performing Arts (Theatre).

Career

After graduating, Erica worked at the Julliard as a costume designer, before she started in the theatre as a writer and director; she has numerous theatre credits including “Debbie Does Dallas”, “Trust”, “As You Like It”, and “All the Fine Boys”, among others.

Erica won the Princess Grace Award in Theater Direction in 2001, and was nominated for the Drama Desk Award Outstanding Director of a Play, in 2020.

She rose to prominence when she wrote and directed the romantic musical drama “Cyrano”, which was at first played Off-Broadway in late 2019, and has been adapted as a movie based on this play, which should be released on 25 February 2022, starring Peter Dinklage, Kelvin Harrison Junior, and Haley Bennet.

Erica made her acting debut on the big screen in the 2002 movie “Miles from Nowhere”, alongside Jason Fisher, Caren Browning and Laurie Lefever but after this appearance, she stopped acting, to focus her career on the theatre work.

Their love story started in 2003, and after two years of dating, they married on 16 April 2005, in a  private wedding ceremony in the presence of only their closest family members and friends.

Erica and Peter became parents for the first time in December 2011, when their daughter was born; they haven’t revealed her name, but there were some rumors that the baby girl was named Zilag, which Peter denied. Their second child was born in September 2017, however, they haven’t revealed either the gender of the baby or the name.

Peter Hayden Dinklage was born under the zodiac sign of Gemini on 11 June 1969, in Morris Township, New Jersey USA; he holds American nationality and his ethnicity of mixed Irish and German descent. He’s a producer and actor with over 85 credits to his name, whose most notable role was his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister in the world-famous series “Game of Thrones”.

He was raised in the Brookside section of Morris Township, alongside his brother Jonathan, by their parents – mother Diane was an elementary school teacher, and father John Carl Dinklage was an insurance salesman.

Peter and his brother had an interest in performing from an early age, and used to perform puppet musicals for their family and neighbors. While he was in elementary school, Peter made his acting debut in the school play “The Velveteen Rabbit”.

He attended Catholic preparatory Delbarton School for boys, and there developed his acting skills. Upon matriculating in 1987, Peter enrolled at Bennington College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama Arts, in 1991.
