Early life, family, and educational background
Rachel Reynolds Dellucci’s birth date is 4 November 1982, in Mandeville, Louisiana, USA, but she grew up in New Orleans near Lake Pontchartrain. There’s no available information about her family and childhood experiences.
She attended Mandeville High School, and then went to Louisiana State University, where she earned a degree in public relations. She was also a member of their university’s track and field team, which won national championships.
Before reaching stardom, she worked as a cashier in a grocery store when she was in college but was also discovered by a local modeling agency. She began her career in 2002, in a competition where she could replace Brooke Burke as the hostess of “Wild On!”, a travel show produced by E!. She advanced to the finals due to her exceptional performance, which impressed the producers, but was defeated by Cindy Taylor, a model and an actress at that time, who hosted the series until the following year.
Rachel’s failure didn’t stop her from pursuing her dream; she later auditioned as one of Barker’s Beauties for the television show “The Price is Right,” during the show’s last weeks of its 31st season; she first appeared in the show on 6 June 2003 and stayed until the season ended. She’s made guest appearances in a number of series, including “How I Met Your Mother”, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, “Emmy Awards” broadcasts, and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Rachel also showed that she’s good at acting; she’s appeared in some episodes of “Scorpion,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Cellular,” “Lonely Hearts,” “Jack and Jill,” “Wildfire,” and “The Bold and the Beautiful”, but the majority of her roles remain as a model in “The Price is Right”.
