However, this ultimately led him to realize that his passions found their expression through stage and screen.

His parents weren’t entirely supportive of his desire to study acting, but he still got himself into a prestigious academy – during those years, Sam studied acting under Elizabeth Kemp, Les Chantery, Glenda Linscott and Andrew Lewis, before obtaining a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Acting in 2018.

The series is based on Archie comics and was created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, starring Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch and Lucy Davis.

The series is a follow-up to the “Vikings” series, set 100 years later from the events of the Lothbrok Era. Sam’s character, Leif Eriksson, is believed to be one of the first Europeans to explore tNorth America, and is aided by Freydis Eiriksdottir, fearless and devout pagan sister, played by Frida Gustavsson, and Harald Sigurdsson, ferocious fighter and the Prince of Norway portrayed by Leo Suter.

The series premiered on 25 February 2022 on Netflix to rave reviews. In March 2022, the series was renewed for the second and third seasons, with a 24-episode order announced back in November 2019. The second season premiered on 12 January 2023, and Sam and others were again praised for their work on the series.
