Who is Alida Morberg?
Alida Morberg was born in Lilla Edet, Sweden, on 30 January 1985 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and she holds Swedish nationality. She’s an actress with 15 film and TV credits to her name, perhaps known best for her portrayal of Emma Trelkovski, one of the main characters, in the 2015 horror thriller film “Sensoria”, written and directed by Christian Hallman, and which also starred Lanna Ohlsson and Norah Andersen. It follows a woman who’s nearly 40 years old, and has moved into a haunted house; the movie won one of the two awards for which it was nominated.
Alida is also known for being the long-term girlfriend of the famous Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård.
Early life and education
Alida was raised in Stockholm, Sweden alongside her four siblings, by their father Per-Arne Henrik Morberg, who’s a famous Swedish actor, TV host and chef, and their mother Inese Bergs Morberg who’s a housewife.
Alida grew up being interested in acting, mostly because her father had occasionally taken her on the sets of his movies and TV series. She was a member of her high school’s drama club, and played lead characters in various plays performed at the school, as well as at a couple performed at a local theatre. Alida was quite active during her teenage years, as she played sports, practiced dancing, and often travelled with her family.
She matriculated in 2003, and although she hasn’t spoken of her further education, most people believe that she attended college, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2007.
Roles in movies
Alida made her debut film appearance in 2007, when cast to play Marta, in the crime drama “Gangster”, written and directed by Steve Aalam, and which starred Mikael Persbrandt, Kjell Bergqvist and Peter Gardiner. It follows Antonio Moro who’s living with his pregnant girlfriend Tanya, but is working for the mafia boss Thomas Steel, however, he’s now been ordered to kill someone who is very close to this family.
In 2010, Alida was cast to play Jenny in the horror “Insane”, and in 2013, she portrayed Gertrud, one of the main characters in the crime drama “Crimes of Passion: Roses, Kisses and Death”. In the same year, she played Colethos Flickvan in the romantic drama “Stockholm Stories”, directed by Karin Fahlen, and which starred Martin Wallstrom, Cecilia Frode and Jonas Karlsson. It follows five people whose paths have crossed on a rainy November day, and the film won one of the three awards for which it was nominated.
Alida’s most recent film role has been her portrayal of Clara, the main character in the 2018 short romantic drama “Foggy Days”, written and directed by Martin Sandin, and which also starred Filip Berg and Mattias Ramos; it follows Clara and Peter who have fallen in love.
Alida’s currently shooting for the upcoming horror film “The Killer”, in which she stars alongside David Lenneman and Lars Bethke.
Roles in TV series
Alida made her debut TV series appearance in 2010, when cast to play Veronica in two episodes of the crime thriller drama “Maria Wern”, which starred Eva Rose, Allan Svensson and Peter Perski, and follows a Swedish woman who’s working as a police officer, and has to solve a crime on Gotland Island; the series was nominated for a Kristallen Award for Best Television Drama.
In 2011, Alida appeared in the first episode of the comedy “Elsas Värld”, and in 2015, we saw her play Anna, in the episode “Rum 302” of the popular mystery crime thriller “Beck”; it starred Peter Haber, Ingvar Hirdwall and Rebecka Hemse, and follows Martin Beck and Gunvald Larsson, as they’re solving murders in Stockholm.
In the same year, Alida made a guest appearance as Hanna, in the episode “Parterapi” of the comedy drama “Solsidan”, which was quite popular, and won five of the 11 awards for which it was nominated.
She gained recognition in 2018, when cast to star as Isabell in the horror thriller “Black Lake”, which also starred Filip Berg, Valter Skarsgård and Anna Astrom, and follows Jonah and his friends who have come to the abandoned ski resort Black Lake.
Two of Alida’s most recent roles in TV series have been in six episodes of the drama “Amningsrummet” in 2020, and two episodes of the mystery crime drama “Agatha Christie’s Hjerson” in 2021; she’s currently shooting for the upcoming comedy “Mer Panik i Tomteverkstan”.
Love life and relationship with Bill Skarsgård
Alida prefers to keep the details of her love life to herself, but it’s widely known that she has been in a relationship with Bill Skarsgård for more than four years.
The two met at a party organized for actors and actresses sometime in the mid-2010s, and after having dated for several months, Bill announced that the two were in a relationship. They could since have been seen attending numerous red carpet events together, and in October 2018, Alida gave birth to their daughter, whom she and Bill are keeping away from the media’s attention. It appears that Alida and Bill have decided not to complicate their lives with papers, as they haven’t married.
Neither Alida nor Bill have spoken of any other people whom they had perhaps been with before meeting each other, and as of September 2021, Alida’s dating Bill Skarsgård, hasn’t married, and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Alida is quite active on Instagram, as she seems to be enjoying the attention she’s receiving from her more than 25,000 followers. She has uploaded over 220 pictures, the majority of which feature her travelling, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Alida loves being at the beach, which is why summer is her favorite season, as she’s keen on swimming, and playing beach soccer and volleyball.
She loves being in nature, and prefers it over being in overcrowded cities.
Photography is one of her favorite hobbies, and many of her Instagram pictures have been taken by her.
She’s taking good care of both her mental and physical health, as she does yoga, meditates and works out at the gym.
Alida has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Matt Damon, the late Robin Williams and Emma Watson, and a couple of her favorite movies are “Catch Me If You Can”, “Patch Adams” and “Good Will Hunting”.
