Early life and education
Jeff was raised in San Francisco by his parents, about whom nothing’s known as he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father was a lawyer, as well, and that his mother was a housewife. Because he hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, most people believe that Jeff is an only child.
He looked up to his father while growing up, and thus chose to become a lawyer, however, Jeff still had numerous other interests.
He played basketball while attending a local high school, and also did a bit of acting. He matriculated in 1988, and then enrolled at Dartmouth College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1992; he continued his education at the same college, and obtained his Master’s degree in law in 1994.

Jeff has apparently worked as a lawyer since university, however, it seems that he hasn’t been involved in any highly important cases, which would help him attract attention on the internet.
Love life and marriage with Aisha Tyler
Jeff met Aisha while they were both attending Dartmouth College, and they started dating, and the two married in a private ceremony, attended by the closest of their friends and family members, after they had both graduated in 1992.
They remained together for 24 years, and didn’t have children because they both wanted to focus on their careers, although there are rumors circulating the internet, claiming that Jeff eventually wanted children but Aisha didn’t, which was partly why Jeff filed for divorce in April 2016.
It was finalized a year later, and because of Aisha’s wealth of over $10 million, she was ordered to pay Jeff $500,000 plus $31,250 a month, until the total sum reaches $2 million.
Neither of the two has spoken of any other people whom they have perhaps been with, and as of December 2021, Jeff appears to be single, was once married to Aisha Tietjens, and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Jeff’s career as a lawyer has taken him to various US states, and he’s thus fallen in love with travelling, however, he still travels for work more often than for pleasure. He has apparently also been to several European and Asian countries, and his favorite city, out of those which he’s visited is Munich in Germany.
He’s a lover of animals, with dogs and wolves being his favorites; Jeff has a pet dog, and the two have been seen walking together by several of Alisha’s fans.
Jeff seems to be interested in philanthropy, and has donated money to a couple of charity organizations which aim to help war veterans and underprivileged children; while he was still married to Alisha, the two donated money together, as well as volunteered on a couple of occasions.

Aisha Nilaja Tyler was born in San Francisco on 18 September 1970 – her zodiac sign is Virgo, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress, film director and producer, talk-show host, and a comedienne who has appeared in more than 70 movies and TV series, while she’s perhaps known best for her voicing of Princess Lana Kane, in the animated action comedy series “Archer”.
It was created by Adam Reed, stars H. Jon Benjamin, Judy Greer and Amber Nash, and follows the lives of several secret agents; the series has been airing since 2009, and has won 18 awards including three Primetime Emmys, while it has been nominated for 68 other awards.
Aisha was raised in San Francisco alongside her sister Feri Tyler, by their father James who was a photographer, and their mother Robin Gregory who was a high school teacher; while growing up, Aisha spent a year living in Ethiopia with her family, as well as in Oakland, California in an ashram. She was 10 when her parents divorced, and she remained with her father.
Aisha studied at McAteer High School, and it was during her four years there that she became interested in acting; she was a member of the school’s drama club, and appeared in numerous plays performed there.

Aisha eventually gained recognition in 2003, when she played Charlie Wheeler in nine episodes of the romantic comedy series “Friends”, created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane, and which starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, amongst others. It follows six friends who are in their 20s, and are living in two next-door apartments in Manhattan; the series aired from 1994 to 2004, and won 83 awards, including six Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 220 other awards.
A couple of her following notable performances were in the 2007 action drama movie “Death Sentence”, the 2009 crime film “Black Water Transit” and the 2012 comedy movie “The Babymakers”.
She then became more focused on her career as a writer, and started contributing to magazines such as “Entertainment Weekly”, “Jane” and “Glamour”; Aisha had previously published her book in January 2004, entitled “Swerve: A Guide to the Sweet Life for Postmodern Girls”.
She posed nude for the magazine “Allure” in 2006.
