Cosmo Colyer Pfiel is an actor and assistant director, butperhaps best recognized as the husband of American actress Betty Gilpin. His notable projects include “The Northern Kingdom”, “Providence”, and “Take Shelter”. He was born under the Zodiac sign Sagittarius on 9 December 1977, in Shoreham, Vermont USA, holds American nationality, and as of 2021 is 44 years old.

Despite earning positive reviews and praise for the casts’ performance, it underperformed at the box office. During the same year, he had a minor role in the comedy film “Pose Down”. After his role in the short horror movie “Boo!”, he appeared in another short western film, “Grand George: No God But Me”.

In 2008, he portrayed Glen in the drama movie “The Northern Kingdom”, alongside Betty Gilpin, Heidi Armbruster, and Richard Bekins.

In 2011 he served as a second assistant director on the psychological thriller film “Take Shelter”, starring Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain.

A New York City native, Betty began her acting career while she was still studying at Fordham University under the well-known actress Diane West.  In 2008, she appeared in an episode of the police/procedural series “Law and Order: Criminal Intent”.

Building her profile in her chosen field, for the first few years of her career through to 2012, Betty landed several minor roles in movies such as “Death in Love”, “Ghost Town”, and “Beach Pillows” in 2008 and 2009, then mainly bounced between one-episode TV and movie roles – she guest-starred in a number of series such as “Medium”, “The Unusual”, and “New Amsterdam”. In 2013 she landed the recurring role as Carrie Roman in the medical/comedy series “Nurse Jackie”, appearing in 34 episodes through 2015.

Immediately after which, Betty played Roz in eight episodes of “The Walker”, followed by several more recurring roles in other TV series, including “Elementary” “Mercy Street”, and “Masters of Sex” all in 2016.
