Alexandria Zahra Jones is an American-born artist and celebrity kid, of mixed Somali, Irish and English ancestry, the daughter of the Somali-American model Iman, and the late British actor and singer-songwriter David Bowie.

Alexandria ‘Lexi’ Zahra Jones is a native of New York City, New York, born under the Leo zodiac sign on 15 August 2000, which makes her 23 years old as of 2023; her father David Bowie died of liver cancer in January 2016. She is the half-sister of the British film director, Duncan Jones, who is from her father’s previous union with the American model, journalist and actress, Angela Bowie (nee Barnett). Lexi is rumored to be dating the guitarist Tristan Beltrami of The Campbells band, which is based in Los Angeles, California. Beltrami is the son of the Academy and Emmy Award-nominated American composer, Marco Beltrami, who is known for his works in the 2008 war film “The Hurt Locker.” Neither Beltrami nor Lexi have confirmed the dating rumors.
Lexi’s parents met at a party in Los Angeles in the early ‘90s and dated for a year and a half before they became engaged, and eventually tied the knot in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 24 April 1992. The couple waited for over eight years before their daughter was born. It’s reported that they were so overjoyed after her birth that David quit drinking and smoking.

Zahra has a septum piercing. She has inked a crescent moon-shaped tattoo in remembrance of her father – the words ‘Daddy xx 1947 – 2006’ are written next to her tattoo.
Alexandria is reported to have inherited a fortune after her father died. Bowie was worth a whopping $230 million at the time of his death, and left each of his children $25 million. Father, David Bowie
David Bowie was one of the most influential singers of the 20th century. He went by several nicknames such as Thin White Duke and Ziggy Stardust. He was born in Brixton, London, on 8 January 1947, to Haywood Stenton and Margaret Jones. His siblings were Terry Burns, Myra Ann, and Annette. Bowie was in high school when he created his first band in 1962. In 1969, he released the single “Space Oddity,” which became an international hit. Before the ‘80s, David recorded various studio albums, and some of his most popular were “Young Americans” (1975), “Heroes” (1977), and Lodger” (1979).

Iman was born Zara Mohamed Abdulmajid on 25 July 1955, in Mogadishu, Somalia, and is 68 years old as of 2023. She is the daughter of the diplomat, Mohamed Abdulmajid, who previously served as Somali ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and his wife Mariam Abdimajid. She studied in several countries including Egypt and Kenya, and was in college when she met the late American photographer, Peter Berard, who helped her establish her modeling career in the late ‘70s. She became a muse to several renowned designers, such as Gianni Versace, Halston, and Calvin Klein, when her career was at its peak.
Iman is an established businesswoman who owns the cosmetic firm, Iman Cosmetics and the clothing line, Global Chic.
