Early life and education
Porschla was raised alongside her sister Betty Jean Coleman in Van Nuys, by their mother who’s also named Betty Jean Coleman, and their father who prefers to stay away from the media’s attention – it’s said that Porschla’s mother is a housewife, and that her father is a businessman.
She moved with her family to Sherman Oaks in California when she was eight years old, and there attended Millikan Middle School; the family later returned to Los Angeles, and Porschla studied at Hollywood High School. She was interested in many activities during her four years there, including writing for the school’s newspaper, acting with the school’s drama club, and playing volleyball. She became interested in music when she was 16.
Porschla matriculated in 2003, and then didn’t enroll at college, but chose to focus on her career.
Porschla’s career
Porschla is often mistaken for Porscha Coleman, who’s a popular American actress and model, and has appeared in many movies and TV series.
Porschla hasn’t shared many details concerning her career, but it’s known that she competed as a model in the family comedy game-show “Star Search” in 2003. It was hosted by Arsenio Hall, Naomi Judd and Ben Stein, and shows people competing in either the comedy or music category; it aired from 1983 to 2004, and was nominated for a single award.
She also appeared in the 2012 episode “Compulsive Behavior” of the family reality show “Khloe & Lamar”, which starred Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom and Malika Haqq; it aired in 2011 and 2012, following the private lives of its stars, and the show was nominated for three awards.
She’s today serving as the executive director of her husband’s Jason Kidd Foundation, and has worked with various other charity organizations, including Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Love life and marriage with Jason Kidd
Porschla and Jason prefer to keep the details of their love life to themselves, and haven’t shared a lot concerning their marriage with their fans.
They met in either 2008 or 2009, apparently introduced by a friend at his party; the two were in a relationship for around three years prior to exchanging vows on 10 September 2011, in a private ceremony attended by only the closest of their friends and family members. Porschla has given birth to their three children.
She hasn’t spoken of any other men whom she had perhaps been with prior to meeting Jason, while it’s known that Jason was previously married to the American actress and journalist Joumana Marie Kidd (nee Samaha).
The two exchanged vows in 1997, but Jason was arrested in January 2001 on charges of domestic abuse, after he had physically assaulted Joumana; he then had to attend anger management classes for half a year. Jason filed for divorce on 9 January 2007, claiming that Joumana was jealous and paranoid, and that she often threatened to tell the police that he was abusing her again, which he denied. They have three children together.
As of December 2021, Porschla is married to Jason Kidd, and they have three children.
Hobbies and other interests
Porschla prefers to stay away from social media, and isn’t active on any networks; some people believe that Jason is perhaps jealous, and doesn’t allow her to use the networks, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
She likes to travel, and has been there to cheer for Jason during many of his games.

Who is Jason Kidd?
Jason Frederick Kidd was born in San Francisco, California USA, on 23 March 1973 – his zodiac sign is Aries, and he holds American nationality. He’s currently coaching the Dallas Mavericks who are competing in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Jason was raised in San Francisco alongside his siblings Kim and Denise, by their Irish-American mother Anne, and their African-American father Steve.
He studied at East Oakland Youth Development Center before moving on to St. Joseph Notre Dame High School, at which he played basketball for the school’s team Pilots under the coach Frank LaPort; Jason was named California Player of the Year twice during that time. Upon matriculating in 1991, he was offered scholarships from many prestigious universities, and Jason chose the University of California, Berkeley; this came as a shock to many people, as he could’ve attended better ranked universities. He quit in 1994, and made himself eligible for the NBA draft.
Jason was picked by the Dallas Mavericks, and played with them for two years, before he was traded to the Phoenix Suns for the 1996-1997 season.
He stayed with them for the following five years, until traded to the New Jersey Nets on 28 June 2001; Jason returned to the Dallas Mavericks on 13 February 2008, and won the NBA Championship with them on 12 June 2011.
He signed a contract with the New York Knicks on 12 July 2012, before retiring on 3 June 2013.
He then turned to coaching, and became the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets on 12 June 2013. Between 1 July 2014 and 2018, Jason coached the Milwaukee Bucks, and between 31 July 2019 and 28 June 2021, he was an assistant coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, then became the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks.
It’s believed by some that Jason is a bit of an alcoholic, as on 15 July 2012, he hit a telephone pole with his car; the police found him in the car in the woods, and it was revealed that he was intoxicated.
