Robert is being raised in Washington City alongside his sister Natalie Biden, by their mother Hallie Biden; their father Beau Biden was an American politician, who held a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Law degree from Syracuse University’s College of Law, but who passed away in 2015.

Robert’s parents married in 2002, when his mother worked as a school counselor.

He was raised alongside his sister Valerie and brothers James and Francis in Scranton, by their father Joseph Robinette Biden Sr. and their mother Catherine Eugenia ‘Jean’ Biden (nee Finnegan). J

oe’s father was wealthy before Joe was born, however, Scranton soon suffered economic decline, and the family eventually moved to Claymont in Delaware. Biden Sr. then became a used-car salesman, and provided his family with a middle-class life.

Joe met his second wife Jill Tracy Jacobs on a blind date in 1975, and they married on 17 June 1977; Jill gave birth to their daughter Ashley Biden in 1981, and she’s today a social worker, and is married to the American plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist Howard David Krein.
