Bruno made his acting debut in the 1995 movie “O Quatrilho”, alongside Alexandre Paternost, Gloria Pires and Patricia Pillar, cast to play the character Massimo in this romantic drama about two immigrant couples, in the story full of forbidden feelings, betrayal, and hard decisions to make.
The movie won five awards, and had 10 award nominations, including for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
In 1997, Bruno had a minor role in the series “Chicago Sons”, followed by supporting roles in series such as “Suddenly Susan”, “The Last Don”, “Total Security”, and “Cybill”.
In the next year, he had a more significant role in the series “Jesse”, in which he acted alongside Liza Snyder, Christina Applegate and Jennifer Milmore.
