Who is Taylor Atelian?
Taylor Marie Atelian was born in Santa Barbara, California USA, on 27 March 1995 – her zodiac sign is Aries, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress with two credits to her name, while she’s still popular for her portrayal of the main character Ruby, in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy series “According to Jim”, created by Tracy Newman and Jonathan Stark, and which also starred Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Larry Joe Campbell.
The series follows a macho man and his wife, as they’re raising their three children; it aired from 2001 to 2009, and was nominated for 25 awards, including four Primetime Emmy nominations.
Early life and education
Taylor was raised in Santa Barbara alongside her two brothers, by their parents Suzy and Ken Atelian, but nothing more is known about Taylor’s family, as she respects their privacy.
She became interested in acting at a very early age, and was only six years old when she was cast to star in “According to Jim”. Taylor was then enrolled at a school for the performing arts, but was more interested in dancing than in acting.
She started off with tap dance, and then transitioned to ballet and jazz. Taylor studied at Rudenko School of Dance, from which she matriculated in 2013; she hasn’t spoken of her further education, but it’s widely believed that she attended college, from which Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017.
Career as an actress
Taylor has only one other acting credit besides “According to Jim”: in 2008, she played Amanda Addison, in the short horror drama “Reaper”, written and directed by Brian Diederich, and which starred Aaron Pont, John Terry and Peter Facinelli. It follows the Grim Reaper who’s struggling with a mid-life crisis, while Jesus is there to help him with therapy.
Roles in theatre plays
Taylor has appeared in various off-Broadway plays. She starred in a production of “Alice in Wonderland”, which follows Alice who has fallen through a rabbit hole, and has found herself in a magical world filled with strange and beautiful creatures.
She was then cast to appear in a production of “The Adventures of Pinocchio”, which follows the boy Pinocchio who’s made of wood, who only wants to become a real boy.
Taylor also starred in the production of “Babes in Toyland”, performed at the Lobero Theatre. It follows the orphans Jane and Alan who are to inherit a large amount of money, but have been tricked by their Uncle Barnaby, who has got them shipwrecked and lost at sea, but the two are eventually rescued by gypsies.
Taylor performed four songs in four episodes of the series “According to Jim”, between 2001 and 2004.
In 2008, she starred in the TV special “Mother Goose Parade”.
She made a guest appearance in the 2011 short documentary video “Season 3 According to Jim”.
In 2013, Taylor was a pageant judge for eight episodes of the reality show “Toddlers & Tiaras”, created by Doug Mirabello, and which starred MaKenzie Myers, Dawn Rochelle and Wen D. Lee. It shows the children who are competing at child beauty pageants, and the series aired from 2009 to 2016.
Career as a musician
Taylor is today a member of the all-girl pop group Pink-E-Swear. The girls launched their YouTube channel on 20 February 2009, and it’s today subscribed to by close to 350 people, and numbers over 85,000 views of all their videos combined.
They uploaded their debut music video – “Stay With Me” – on 17 February 2011, and it has since been watched close to 70,000 times. This remains the girls’ most popular video, as their only other video that has been watched over 5,000 times is “Pink E Swear- Out of control (Sneak peek)”, which was uploaded on 11 July 2012.
The girls are today working on releasing their debut album, but haven’t shared the release date, nor what the album’s contents will be.
Love life and relationships
Taylor’s quite open when it comes to talking about her love life, and it’s widely known that she’s today in a relationship with the musician Britney Marie, also that she’s bisexual; the two girls have been together since 2019.
Not a lot is known about Britney, as she’s still working on her way up in the music industry; she’s quite active on Instagram, and has uploaded over 500 pictures, most of which have been taken during her everyday life, and many which feature Taylor. The two girls seem to be happy together, and have been seen eating at expensive restaurants, and sun tanning at a beach in Miami, Florida by many of Taylor’s fans.
Neither have spoken of any other people whom they’ve perhaps been with, but it’s rumored that Taylor was in a relationship with a popular actor, but that they split after around a year of dating.
As of September 2021, Taylor’s in a relationship with Britney Marie, hasn’t married, and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Taylor loves to travel, and her Instagram account is filled with pictures taken from various places around the US; her dream travel destination seems to be San Francisco, California.
Sumer is her favorite season, as she loves to sun tan at the beach, swim in the ocean and play beach sports. Taylor also likes winter, as she’s an avid skier.
She’s physically highly active, and has a couple of training sessions at the gym every week, thus her slim figure. Taylor’s also following a strict diet, which means that she avoids eating fast food and sweets.
She has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Matt Damon, Al Pacino and Angelina Jolie, while a couple of her favorite movies are “Good Will Hunting”, “Scent of a Woman” and “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life”.
