American actor Andrew M. Gray was born in Sacramento, California USA, on 4 February 1987, so Aquarius is his zodiac sign. He’s played and voiced characters in 11 movies and TV series, and is perhaps known best for playing the lead character Troy Burros – aka Red Super Megaforce Ranger – in the 2015 action adventure fantasy movie “Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle”, directed by Charlie Haskell and Koichi Sakamoto, and which also starred Ciara Hanna and John Mark Lodermilk; it follows six Power Rangers as they’re defending Earth from alien invaders.
Education and early life
Andrew was raised in Sacramento alongside his older brother, by their American father and Spanish mother; not a lot else has been shared about Andrew’s family, because he respects their privacy, while it’s known that his brother’s today married and has several children.
Andrew was passionate about sports while growing up, as he played both ice hockey and soccer for his high school teams; it was also while at high school that he became interested in acting, and began appearing in both school and theatre plays.
Andrew matriculated in 2005 and then enrolled at college, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009.
Roles in movies
Andrew made his debut film appearance in the 2011 thriller “1313: Wicked Stepbrother”, written and directed by David DeCoteau, and which starred Jordan Nichols, Michelle Bauer and Jake Madden. It follows Jarrod Mycroft who’s trying to catch a serial killer that is killing his closest friends, while he believes that his stepbrother Sebastian’s the one responsible. Also in 2011, Andrew starred as Diver in the short comedy “L. A. dy Dior”.
The year 2012 saw him play Student in the biographical drama “A Green Story”, which Nika Agiashvili wrote and directed, and which starred Billy Zane, Ed O’Ross and Shannon Elizabeth. It follows a poor Greek man Van Vlahakis who’s moved to the USA and launched his successful company Earth Friendly Products; the film was nominated for an Orpheus Award for Best Feature Film at the 2012 Los Angeles Greek Film Festival.
Some of Andrew’s following roles were in the 2013 action “Power Rangers Megaforce: Ultimate Team Power”, the 2019 action adventure thriller “Shadow Wolves” and the 2021 animated family comedy “Panda vs. Aliens” (voice role).
His only other film role has been playing Salsa Dancer in the 2022 adventure comedy “Slumberland”, directed by Francis Lawrence, and which starred Jason Momoa, Marlow Barkley and Chris O’Dowd. It follows a young girl who’s partnered up with an eccentric outlaw in search of the dreamworld Slumberland, and the movie was nominated for two awards.

In 2016, Andrew played Naked Man in the episode “It’s Spatula Time” of the comedy “Dirty Talk”, which has been airing since 2016, stars Alexa Berry, Brianna Endrina and Jessica O’Brian, and follows the lives of three very different roommates.
His only other TV series role has been portraying Mark in the episodes “Hells Bells” and “Blood in the Water” of the 2018 crime drama “Betrayed”, which starred Mark Krenik, Harvey B. Jackson and Rene Aranda, and tells several stories about how chasing the American dream can end badly; the series was nominated for two awards.
Andrew’s the writer and producer of the upcoming short drama movie “Spilt Milk”, in which he will also star, alongside Escher Holloway and John Wusah. It follows undercover detective Augustine who’s returned home after many years.

It was in March 2021 that Andrew revealed on his Facebook account that he and Kelly had broken up.
