Steffan Fin Argus was born in Des Plaines, Illinois USA, on 1 September 1998 – his zodiac sign is Virgo, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor, model and a musician, with over 20 acting credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of the lead character Zach Sobiech, in the critically acclaimed 2020 biographical musical movie “Clouds”, directed by Justin Baldoni, and which also starred Neve Campbell and Sabrina Carpenter. It follows the musician Zach Sobiech, who has just learned that his cancer will soon kill him, which is why he has rushed to release his debut album, which became a huge hit worldwide; the movie won one of the two awards for which it was nominated.

Early life, parents and education

Fin was raised in Des Plaines alongside his older sister Sadie, and younger sister Lacey, by their parents Dina F and Bob Argus; nothing is known about Fin’s family, as they prefer to stay away from the media’s attention.

Fin became passionate about music when he was around eight years old, and began playing the Spanish guitar. while attending third grade at a local elementary school. After a year, Fin took on the piano, and then learned to play various other instruments, including the ukulele, the cello, French horn, as well as banjo, mandolin and the bass guitar. He was into acting at the same time, and appeared in various plays performed at the school.

Fin was 12 years old when he launched his acting career, by appearing in the 2011 music video “Kidz Bop Kids: Born This Way”; the same year saw him star in the short family film “Requiem”, and the short biographical comedy movie “Life Lessons”.

He studied at Maine West High School, and upon matriculating in 2016, Fin enrolled at Berklee College of Music (Boston), from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2020.

Roles in movies

In 2012, Fin starred as Charlie in the short fantasy science fiction “Harvest”, written and directed by Sam Shapson, and which also starred Grace Etzkorn and Stephen Spencer.

The movie follows Jessica who doesn’t believe that there are creatures living in her grandparents’ cornfield, but after her brother goes to check, she has to defend them both from danger. In the same year, Fin played the lead character Sam, in the short family drama “Stitches”.

In 2016, we saw him appear as Julian in the short adventure comedy “Virtual High”, and the following year saw him star as Charlie in the short thriller “Perception”, written and directed by Michael J. Murphy, and which also starred Lizze Broadway and Alex Perry. The film follows Charlie and his sister Josi, who have taken a new hallucinogenic drug, which helps them relive their memories.

Fin appeared in three other short films in 2017: the comedy “Leaked Wedding”, another comedy “Carma”, and the drama “The Regulars”, and his only two other movie roles, besides “Clouds”, have been in the 2018 romantic comedy drama “Summer ’03”, and the music video “Meg Donnelly: Smile”; he’s currently shooting for the upcoming drama “Stay Awake”, as well as for another so far untitled project.

Roles in TV series

Fin made his debut TV series appearance in 2016, when cast to play the lead character Hansen in all the 21 episodes of the romantic comedy drama “The Commute”; the series also starred Claudia Sulewski and Brennen Taylor, and follows two teenagers as they’re falling in love.

In 2017, we saw him play Jack in the episode “Exposed” of the action fantasy drama “The Gifted”, and in 2018 and 2019, Fin starred as Julian, in the fantasy “Total Eclipse”. It also starred Mackenzie Ziegler and Lauren Orlando, and follows Cassie and her friends who are now exacting their revenge on bullies at school.

Fin has appeared in only two other series: he played Bo in the 2020 pilot episode of the comedy “Our House”, and the same year played Young Gordon in the episodes “Stolen” and “After, Before” of the action adventure drama “Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D.”.

He’s currently shooting for the upcoming drama “Queer as Folk”.

Other credits

Fin performed six songs in the 2020 movie “Clouds”.

Love life and girlfriend

Fin is quite secretive when it comes to his love life, and hasn’t spoken of any boys or girls whom he has perhaps been with, however, he’s revealed that he’s gay. There are still rumors circulating the internet, regarding his past and present relationships.

Even though Fin has recently come out as gay, many of his fans believe that he was once in a relationship with the American actress and YouTuber Claudia Sulewski.

Both have uploaded many pictures featuring them together, onto their Instagram accounts, and back in March 2017, Claudia uploaded a picture of them hugging, with the caption reading ‘Meet my onscreen boyfriend. Still trying to convince him to be my real boyfriend.’

There are also those who believe that Fin’s today dating a non-celebrity American boy, and one of his fans has even claimed to have seen them spending time together, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.

As of October 2021, Fin seems to be single, hasn’t married, and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

Fin is followed by more than 260,000 people on Instagram, and seems to be enjoying the attention he’s receiving on the network, and is thus highly active on it; he’s uploaded nearly 200 pictures, the majority of which have been taken during his everyday life.

He’s been passionate about skateboarding from a very early age, and has uploaded various videos onto his Instagram account which feature him performing tricks.

Fin had a pet dog which passed away in August 2021.

He’s physically highly active, and has four to five training sessions at the gym every week, thus his muscular body.

Fin has his own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Robert De Niro, Tom Cruise and Helena Bonham Carter, while a couple of his favorite movies are “The Irishman”, “The Last Samurai” and “Fight Club”.

Fin’s age is 23. He has short brown hair and brown eyes, his height is 6ft 1in (1.85m) and he weighs around 178lbs (81kgs).
