He hasn’t talked much about his parents, nor siblings, if he has any, but has said that his father is a businessman and his mother a housewife.
He matriculated from a local high school in New York City, after which he didn’t enroll in any college or university, feeling that it would be a waste of time for him, as he focused on his career on YouTube.
JD was interested in video games from an early age, and his interest only increased in high school, as he struggled to make friends and so fully turned to the gaming world.
However, he only started his YouTube channel in 2012, and the “Why The Undertaker vs Ryback Should Not Happen @ Wrestlemania 29 (WWE Commentary/ MW 3 Gameplay)”, was the first video he uploaded. He then uploaded his next video and the first about the popular video game “Call of Duty”, entitled “Black Ops 2 KILL CONFIRMED EXCLUSIVE INFO (Scoring System/Point System Revealed)”, and continued making similar videos and about “WWE”.
Rise to Prominence
His popularity increased steadily, and he began making videos about the real WWE, launching his own podcast “OfftheScript”, which can now be listened to on a number of audio streaming platforms such as iTunes, Stitcher, AudioBoom, and others. He has reviewed a number of WWE events, including the Royal Rumble event of 2016 in the video entitled “WWE Royal Rumble 2016 1/24/2016 Review & Results”, which is now one of his most popular videos, with more than 400,000 views.
He’s now attracted around 130,000 subscribers and more than 77 million views, some of the most popular of which include “Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker WWE Summerslam 2015 WWE 2K15 Match Simulation”, with over 545,000 views, then “WWE Fastlane 2016: Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose Triple Threat – WWE 2K16 Simulation”, viewed more than 270,000 times, and “What You Missed During the WWE 2K17 Cover Reveal Trailer Easter Eggs!”, with around 250,000 views, among other videos that have contributed to his popularity.
JDfromNY is a Twitch streamer as well, and already has over 10,000 followers on his official channel, and a number of subscribers who pay a fee for V.I.P. content. He’s streamed various video games, including “Resident Evil”, “Call of Duty: Black Ops III”, “WWE 2K”, among others, which have earned him a decent 75,000 views combined.
As of late 2021, JDfromNY’s net worth has been estimated to be around $1.5 million, earned through his successful career as an online content creator.
Personal Life, Dating, Married, Single?
When it comes to his personal life, this YouTuber has been rather secretive, not sharing any particular details. This has created a few rumors, including about him being gay, as he spends a lot of time with guys and never talks about women. However, he hasn’t addressed these rumors, and according to online sources, JDfromNY is currently single and focused on his career.
Appearance and Vital Statistics
The prominent YouTuber has black hair and brown eyes. He stands at a height of 5ft 8ins (1.72m), while he weighs approximately 163lbs (74kgs). His vital statistics are currently unknown, though he has an average figure.
Controversy with WWE Star Alexa Bliss
During one of his OfftheScript episodes, JD talked about the WWE wrestler Alexa Bliss, saying that she is one of those women that just lays there and just takes it, adding that she does nothing in the ring, but also in the bed, with a statement “Can you imagine? Can you imagine being in bed with Alexa Bliss, man? And she performs the same way she does in the ring? Awful. All look and no substance whatsoever”.
However, Alexis called out JD for his sexist and derogatory statements, saying that she would normally ignore his comments, but this time he was over the line, and she blocked him on all of her social media outlets, and said that he is just one of those people who talk crap into a microphone while waiting in line for pics at Axxess. He later apologized for his comments, but it was a bit too late, as Alexa doesn’t want to hear from him anymore. Many of Alexa’s wrestling colleagues have stood behind her in support, saying that JD doesn’t have the right to speak such things about Alexa, or any other wrestler, and that she shouldn’t pay attention to his comments.
