on

Qimmah Russo Wiki Bio

Qimmah Russo was born in New York City, USA, on 16 December 1993 – her zodiac sign is Sagittarius, and she holds American nationality. She’s a fitness instructor, model and a social media star, perhaps known best for her online fitness course Q-Flex Fitness.

Early life, family and education

Qimmah grew up in New York City, where she received her primary education. She became physically active at a young age, which comes as no surprise, considering that almost everyone in her family was involved in sports. Qimmah’s mother is a professional field hockey player, while her father played baseball. Furthermore, her brother, Tamir, used to play football, but is today known for posting car and motorcycle content on TikTok and YouTube.

As a teenager, Qimmah became interested in basketball, and even played for her high school’s team. Through her high school years, she also competed in track, played volleyball competitively and attended dance classes. After matriculating, she enrolled at the College of Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, where she majored in sociology and kinesiology. Qimmah kept her basketball career going through her college years, but stopped playing after graduating in 2015. However, she remained in sports, switching to weightlifting, which would shape her future career.

Career as a fitness model and instructor

A few months into her weightlifting journey, Qimmah started making short videos which showcased her progress, and uploading them onto the now-defunct video sharing platform, Vine.

It didn’t take long for her videos to go viral, and for Qimmah to start collaborating with other Vine stars, such as Melvin Gregg, Alphonso McCauley and Klarity.

After Vine was discontinued in 2016, she moved her content to Instagram, on which she attracted more than a million followers in a very short time. Her popularity on Instagram led her to collaborating with numerous clothing brands, including Fashion Nova, EHPLabs and RyderWear; she’s now represented by the Fortune Forever talent agency.

Her knowledge in weightlifting led Qimmah to start working as a personal trainer at a local gym.

As her popularity on social media grew, she wanted to reach out to more people, and help them with their training and diet, so in partnership with her mom, she created the fitness company Q-Flex Fitness, through which they provide workout and meal plans aimed at both men and women at various skill levels. Additionally, she offers motivational videos, which help her clients stick to their designed fitness routines. She also has a personal website, where her clients can choose to participate in 14-, 30- or 60-day fitness challenges, which promise great results in a limited time frame.

She has recently launched her limited series on the Zeus Network, entitled “The Qimmah Show”, which consists of four episodes, during which she engages in a workout, while talking about various topics.

Fitness regiment

Qimmah’s approach to training is a combination of strength and cardio exercises. She likes to blend the two in a way that engages the entire body, so she does a lot of body weight exercises and calisthenics. She isn’t a big fan of cardio machines on the other hand, as she believes that they enable people to ‘be lazy’.

As per weightlifting, Qimmah likes to maintain a solid mind-muscle connection. Whenever she notices that one part of her body isn’t improving the way she expected, she switches up her routine, by changing the weight, going for a different number of repetitions in a set, or trying an entirely new exercise.

Her favorite exercises are classic squats, because they engage all the largest muscle groups – legs, glutes and back.

Her approach is somewhat untraditional though, as she usually tries to do as many squats as she can in 30 seconds, as opposed to doing four sets of 10-12 repetitions, as recommended by other fitness gurus.

Qimmah is quite strict when it comes to her diet, and avoids eating processed carbohydrates and sugar; some of her favorite foods are avocados, low-fat cheese and dark chocolate. She is completely committed to a healthy lifestyle, and never drinks alcohol or smokes.

Presence on social media platforms

Qimmah is very popular on Instagram, with her account ‘@qimmahrusso’ numbering almost two million followers, with over 7,900 posts. She likes to upload a lot of pictures and videos from the gym, while she also often posts provocative bikini selfies.

In March last year, Qimmah launched her TikTok account, ‘@qimahtherapy’, which has since amassed almost 200,000 followers, and more than 760,000 ‘likes’.

She is somewhat less successful on YouTube, where her eponymous channel numbers just over 21,000 subscribers – the content is a combination of workout videos and vlogs, with her brother and friends.

Qimmah launched her Twitter account in August 2013, and has since tweeted over 2,800 times, while her account numbers over 32,000 followers.

Furthermore, she has also opened an OnlyFans account, where her fans can view her more explicit content for a monthly fee.

Love life and boyfriend

Qimmah is a very private person, who prefers not to talk about her love life on social media; she currently seems to be more focused on her career, rather than relationships. One time, she even jokingly made a post about taking herself on a date for Valentine’s Day. Despite her tough exterior, she has said that she’s ‘a hopeless romantic’ and has high standards for her partners, which may be the reason why she hasn’t settled down yet.

Qimmah currently appears to be single, hasn’t been married or engaged, and doesn’t have children

Hobbies and interesting facts

Her name is pronounced as ‘kee-mah’, meaning ‘the highest point, pinnacle’, and has Arabic origins.

Qimmah is very close to her brother Tamir, who got her interested in cars. She has disclosed that she owns two high-end vehicles, which cost over $150,000 each, but hasn’t revealed which models she has.

She has a pet dog called Nugget.

She likes to watch horror movies in her spare time, with some of her favorites being “It Follows”, “Annabelle” and “The Silence of the Lambs”.

She loves to travel to tropical destinations, with long, sandy beaches, and has revealed that her dream travel location is the Bahamas

Appearance, age and net worth

Qimmah is 27 years old. She has long black hair and brown eyes, is 5ft 4ins (1.62m) tall, and weighs around 123lbs (65kgs).

As of October 2021, her net worth is estimated at more than $500,000.

on

Who is Melissa McKnight?

Melissa Sue McKnight is a British-born American former model, actress, and entrepreneur who rose to popularity for her relationship and later marriage to the actor, producer, and comedian Matt LeBlanc. She was born under the Zodiac sign Pisces on 10 March 1965 in England, UK. As of 2021, she is 56 years old and holds American nationality, while her ethnicity is British.

Early life and Family

She was born the only child to parents Regis Mcknight and Nancy Mcknight.  Regarding her background, family, and childhood, not much is known. She has managed to stay tight-lipped and has never mentioned her family in interviews. At a very young age, Melissa relocated with her family to the U.S.

Career

Melissa launched her modeling career in the ’80s and slowly built her profile, appearing in various advertisements, commercials, and printed ads. Furthermore, she was a popular face that graced numerous magazines, including “Elle, “Cosmopolitan”, and “Vogue”. During her lengthy career as a model, Melissa worked with top modeling agencies and was featured in many high-end brands’ beauty and fashion campaigns. In 2001 she dipped her toes in acting with a minor role in the comedy movie “Triangles and Tribulation”. Four years later, she appeared at the 31ST Annual People’s Choice Awards, followed by a minor role in an episode of the TV series “VH1: All Access.

Personal Life

Melissa has had quite a turbulent love life. After dating for a year, in 1990, she said her first “I Do” to Anthony Esposito, the musician, producer, and songwriter.

One year after the nuptials, they welcomed their first child, a boy they named Tyler Esposito, and in 1995 Melissa gave birth to the second child, they named Jacqueline Esposito. The couple divorced in 1996 due to commitment issues from both sides. Reportedly, they were both too focused on pursuing their careers, putting aside their marriage and personal issues.

Her marriage to Matt LeBlanc

Matt and Melissa met in 1997 through the mutual friend, the then-wife of Lou Diamond Phillips, Kelly. Upon meeting, they hit it off and began dating shortly after. After two years of dating, Matt proposed to Melissa, and in 2003 they tied the knot in Hawaii. According to the reports, their wedding was one of the biggest events at that time, with over 150 guests, including Matt’s co-stars from “Friends”.

Following the wedding, Matt sat down with Entertainment Weekly and talked about his experience living with Melissa and her two children, he said: “It’s been a fantastic experience. I’m very grateful for them in my life. Because before them, I was out at the bars, I was chasing chicks all over the place I had kind of a reputation.” On 8th February 2004, the couple welcomed the child, named Marina Pearl McKnight.

Their daughter was diagnosed with brain disorder

While Matt and Melissa enjoyed the fruits of marriage, further blessed with a child, by the end of 2015, the then-couple faced a true hardship. Their daughter, Marina, was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder entitled Cortical Dysplasia which is the most common cause of epilepsy. After going through various therapies and treatments, Marina overgrew the condition and is now a perfectly healthy teenager.

However, the same cannot be said for their marriage, which had been, allegedly on the rocks even before Marina was diagnosed with the disorder, and battling the disease further drew them apart.

Why did they divorce?

In 2006, Matt abruptly left the family house in Encino, California, without any notice or warning. One of Melissa’s close friends told a media outlet that she had been left completely blindsided by what had transpired, and during the same year, they officially divorced. Matt’s publicist at the time, Joe Libonati, released the statement, saying: “The Dissolution is amicable. They remain devoted parents and friends”.

Considering that Matt was, at the time, one of the most popular actors, many media outlets rushed to pick the story apart and uncover the truth behind the separation of the two.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BWZ0xUWll5z/

Reportedly, the biggest bone of contention was Matt’s adultery, and even before the marriage, he held a reputation as a womanizer. According to the People, Matt had an affair with the co-star, Andrea Anders, from the “Friends” spin-off series “Joey”.

In an interview, Melissa accused Matt of cheating on her, and later Matt addressed it and apologized for the inconvenience in his interview with the Mirror. He was also accused of cheating with a striper while being highly inebriated. In an interview, he said: “The stripper was all over me, took off her top and wanted to perform a private dance. She was in my face, pushing her breasts into me and grabbing my hands to go all over her body. If I had been sober perhaps I would have acted quicker but I was drunk. I know I was wrong.”

Co-parenting and finding love

Even though they parted on bad terms, they have managed to patch up their relationship for the sake of their daughter and other children. Following the dissolution, they have continued to co-parent all three children, including Tyler and Jacqueline, with whom Matt shares a close bond. In an interview, he said: “Tyler is a sound engineer,” And my daughter [Jacquelyn] graduated from FIT. She is in the design program, and she is a really hard worker, and I’m proud of her.”

When it comes to their relationship after the divorce and current love interests, Melisa has not been tied to anyone since separating from Matt and is currently single. On the other hand, Matt dated the actress Andrea Anders from 2006 to 2015. Since 2016, Matt has been dating the 17 years younger TV producer Aurora Mulligan.

Where is Melissa now?

After the divorce, Melissa pretty much went under the radar. It seems that she enjoys having her private life away from the prying eyes of the public. However, according to some reports, she is busy raising her 17-year-old daughter and spends most of her free time with the other two children.

Briefly about Matt Leblanc

A Massachusetts native, Matt was born in 1967 to parents Patricia and Paul LeBlanc. He initially relocated to New York to launch a modeling career at the age of 17 but did not meet the height requirements. After appearing in several advertisements and commercials, he made his TV debut portraying Chuck Bender, the regular character on the sitcom “TV 101”.

He continued appearing in music videos and short movies such as “Bob Seger: Night Moves”, “Jon Bon Jovi: Miracle” and “Red Shoe Diaries 3”.

In 1994 he landed the breakthrough role as Joey Tribbiani that brought him worldwide fame in the globally popular sitcom “Friends”. His convincing portrayal of Joey as a struggling actor and a womanizer earned him three nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards.  The series, which holds the title as one of the most popular shows in the world, ran for 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. Following the end of the show, Matt LeBlanc launched a spin-off series, “Joey”, which follows Joey on his venture to L.A. to pursue his acting career. However, this project was not successful as everyone hoped it would, and it was canceled after two seasons. Reportedly, Matt had a tough time adjusting to life after the “Friends” ended, feeling stressed and depressed to the point of having a mental breakdown. Additionally, his marriage to McKnight took a turn for the worse at the same time the show ended.

In an interview, he said: ““For years and years, I barely left the house. I was burnt out. I wanted to not have a schedule, not be somewhere. I was in a position to do that. My agent was bummed. Most actors call their agents and say, ‘What’s going on?’ I’d call mine and say, ‘Please lose my number for a few years.’ Luckily the actor saw the light at the end of the tunnel and collected himself after these dark periods. In 2011 he starred as himself, the lead character, in the TV series “Episodes”, garnering his first Golden Globe Award and four nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards. Rising through his ranks, he appeared in several other projects, including ”Lovesick”, “Man with a Plan”, and “Top Gear”. His latest appearance was in the 2021 HBO Max special “Friends: The Reunion”.

Physical stats

Melissa is 5ft9ins (175cm) tall and weighs around 116lbs (53 kgs). Her natural hair is blonde, further adorned with a pair of blue eyes. She still maintains a slim figure, which many attribute to regular exercise and healthy diet.

What is her net worth?

Her estimated net worth is around $1 million, which she has earned through her career as a model. On the other hand, her ex-husband’s net worth is estimated at the whopping $80 million, which he has acquired through his career as an actor.

Is she active on social media?

It appears that Melissa is not a fan of social media, and hence does not use Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

What happened to Yui Mizuno? Health Update, Height, Net Worth

Published

on

Who is Yui Mizuno?

Yui Mizuno is a musician, singer, and model, perhaps best recognized as a former member of the Kawaii metal band “Babymetal”, and idol group “Sakura Gakuin”. She was born under the Zodiac sign Gemini on 20 June 1999, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, so as of 2021, she’s 22 years old and holds Japanese nationality.

Family, Parents, Bio, Wiki

The names of her parents are unknown, but Yui is the middle child and has two brothers. While there is a scarcity of information regarding her early life, it’s known that while Yui attended an elementary school, some of her family members were diagnosed with a life-threatening sickness. As she was too young to be let into the intensive care department, she spent most of her visits waiting in the hallways, hoping that her family would recover.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BaEJDq8hPti/

The family doctor suggested they play some music for young Yui to relieve the stress of the situation; Yui mostly listened to the all-girl group entitled “Karen Girl’s” whose music gave her courage and patience in these moments of hardship. Having been amazed by the group, she also developed an interest in becoming a singer or band member. Nothing is known about her educational endeavors.

Rise to Stardom

From an early age, Yui was featured as a model and actress in various ads and videos. In 2006, she appeared in the Magazines entitled “Shogakuichinensei” and “Putchigumi”. Two years later, she appeared in the TV commercial “Bandai, Pretty Cute”, followed by another modeling gig featuring in the Tokyo Kids Collection AW fashion show.

In 2009 she landed a minor role in the series “MW Chapter 0, Akuma No Game”, marking her TV debut as an actress. Yui additionally portrayed Hori Shizyo in the movie “Happi Basude”, directed by Kozo Nagayama, which was a part of the night’s Special of Fuji TV entitled “Japan’s Forgotten”. In 2010 she landed the role of Kyoko Yamauchi in the drama series “Kioku No Umi”, before switching to music.

Career

In August 2010, Yui, alongside Kikuchi Moa, joined the idol group “Sakura Gakuin”, managed by the recording and talent agency Amuse. As a band member of the group, it meant becoming a member of smaller groups called “clubs”; the sub-groups recorded differing singles to other clubs. Yui and Moa joined the Baton Club and their musical group “Twinklestars”, and additionally performed with another sub-unit entitled “Mini-Pati”.

Later they were joined by Suzuka Nakamoto in the “heavy metal club”, and the idea to form a kawaii metal band was born, a type of musical genre that combines elements of heavy metal and J-pop, which was very popular in 2010 Japan. It also incorporates cute themes, Japanese idol aesthetic, and heart-warming lyrics, which are not generally associated with hard rock and heavy metal.

Even though none of them knew anything about metal music, it didn’t stop them from embarking on this journey of experimenting with a different genre, and they formed the band entitled “Baby Metal”, considered by many a true pioneer in the genre of kawaii metal, and often credited with popularizing it. Their current YouTube channel has over 2 million subscribers with over 500 million views.

Their first album entitled “Babymetal” was released in 2014, and it quickly found its way to the U.S. Billboard charts.

The band “Sakura Gakuin” also released several albums with Yui, such as “Sakura Gakuin  Nendo: Message” and “Sakura Gakuin Nendo: Friends”.

Yui moved on from the “Sakura Gakuin” in 2015 and began performing exclusively as a member of “Babymetal”, which became an independent recording group. Soon Yui and Moa dipped their toes into songwriting, and collaboratively wrote the track entitled “Song 4” using the Black Babymetal alias.

Babymetal Group

Following the success of their first album, they began their first tour in the United Kingdom as a supporting band for Lady Gaga on her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball 2014 Tour.

In April 2016, the group recorded their second album, “Metal Resistance”, landing on the charts in Japan, the UK and the U.S – the band holds the title as the highest-charting Japanese group on United Kingdom’s Official Albums Chart.

In 2018, the band embarked on US tour, but many noted that Yui wasn’t performing with the rest of the band. Rumors began circulating as to why she was absent, and whether she was a member of the band, which prompted a representative of the 5B Management, a company which represented the band, to disclose the following: “Yui remains a member of the band, but she is not on this current U.S. tour.” However, in June 2018, the band started their European tour, and Yui was still absent from the band.

Why did she leave the group?

In October 2018, “Babymetal” released the official statement that Yui would not perform with the band on the following tours, and was no longer a member due to undisclosed illness. Yui also announced via social media that she had left the band, and might launch a solo career in the future, she wrote: “Sorry to sadden the fans who have supported Babymetal. I had the strong desire to appear on the stage again, but my physical condition is not at its best even now. And further I feel that I would like to pursue my dream. It is these factors that led to my decision”. On the other hand, the two remaining members of the band continued making music, and chose not to replace Yui, in an interview they disclosing “We wanted to continue BABYMETAL and continue the tradition.

Also there’s just no-one like Yuimetal, so it’s not an easy replacement. And that’s why we decided – Su-Metal and Moametal – to form the core of BABYMETAL.”

Where is she now?

After her public statement, both Yui and “Babymetal” went radio silent. Additionally, her leaving sparked a lot of controversy and speculation about her illness, and whether there was more to that story. Some pointed out that the Japanese music industry is brutal, and band members and performers often go through physically challenging and exhausting regimes often consisting of dancing classes, learning etiquette, and extreme diets.

Considering she fainted a couple of times while performing, some of her fans noted that she seemed exhausted.

Even though she gave some hints of pursuing a solo career, since she left the band in 2018, she still hasn’t released any music, nor attended any public event. Considering that she isn’t a fan of social media, it’s hard to track down what she is currently doing.

Personal life

Nothing is known about her dating history and romantic interests; according to the latest reports, she remains single.

What is her net worth?

As of 2021, her estimated net worth is around $1 million, earned through her career as a model, singer, and actress.
