Ravi Cabot-Conyers Wiki Bio
American child actor Ravi Cabot-Conyers was born in New York State, USA on 12 February 2011, so Aquarius is his zodiac sign. He’s played and voiced characters in five movies and five ,TV series, and is perhaps known best for voicing Antonio, one of the lead characters in the 2021 animated family comedy movie “Encanto”, directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, and which also starred Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero and John Leguizamo. It follows a teenage girl from Colombia who’s the only one in her family without magical powers, the movie won 50 of its 134 award nominations, including an Oscar win for Best Animated Feature Film.
Education and early life
Ravi and his brother are being raised in New York State by their mother Christina Cabot and father Charles Conyers; Ravi can rarely be heard speaking about his family in interviews, because he respects their privacy, but he’s revealed that they are all highly supportive of his career in the film industry, and that his parents usually drive him to his auditions.
Ravi was only five years old when he made his debut TV series appearance, playing Kid Talking Trump in the 2016 episode “Dave Chappelle/A Tribe Called Quest” of the critically acclaimed musical comedy “Saturday Night Live”; the show has each of its episodes hosted by a celebrity, it’s been airing since 1975, today numbering close to 1,000 episodes, and has won 297 of its 852 award nominations.

Ravi’s debut film appearance was playing Andrew in the 2017 short drama “HGTV House Hunters Family: When Kids Go House Hunting”, and his following role came in 2019, when cast to portray Deangelo in the popular romantic comedy “Ode to Joy”, directed by Jason Winer, and which starred Martin Freeman, Morena Baccarin and Jake Lacy. It follows librarian Charlie who’s suffering from a neurological disorder which makes him faint whenever he experiences strong emotions, while he’s now fallen in love with Francesca, a girl who frequents his library; the movie’s won two awards.
Also in 2019, Ravi played Drew in the drama “Justine”, written and directed by Stephanie Turner, and which starred Olivia Hamilton, Darby Stanchfield and Josh Stamberg; it follows single mother Lisa Wade whose husband’s just died, which has made her move in with her father-in-law.
Ravi’s since appeared in only one movie (besides “Encanto”): he played Gogo in the 2019 drama “The Artist’s Wife”, written and directed by Tom Dolby, and which starred Lena Olin, Bruce Dern and Stefanie Powers. It tells the story of Claire Smythson, wife of painter Richard Smythson who’s just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and might not be able to complete the paintings required for his final show; the movie won four awards.
Roles in TV series
In 2018, Ravi portrayed Jasper Barnet in the episode “The Germ” of the popular drama “The Resident”, which Hayley Schore and Amy Holden Jones created, and which stars Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal and Matt Czuchry. It follows the lives of doctors working at Chastain Memorial Hospital, the series has been airing since 2018 and has won one of its three award nominations.
Also in 2018, Ravi played Leo in two episodes of the thriller “Tell Me a Story”, created by Kevin Williamson, and which starred Danielle Campbell, Paul Wesley and James Wolk. It’s an anthology series about love, revenge and loss, it aired from 2018 through 2020 and was nominated for a Film Design Award for Excellence in Title Design at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival.

Ravi went on to play Kam Barris in all the eight episodes of the 2020 comedy “#BlackAF”, created by Kenya Barris who also starred in it, alongside Rashida Jones and Iman Benson; it follows the life of a father who has a unique approach to parenting and dating; the series was nominated for five awards.
Ravi’s only other TV series role has been voicing Squiggy in the 2022 episode “The Sneaky Snacker/Celeste’s Barrel Adventure” of the animated adventure comedy “Get Rolling with Otis”, which follows the lives of Otis the tractor and his friends, the farm animals.
Ravi made a guest appearance in a 2015 episode of the talk-show “All in with Chris Hayes”.
He provided additional voices for the 2021 horror mystery movie “Old”.
Ravi was featured in the 2022 TV special “The Oscars”.

It’s widely believed that at 12 years old Ravi’s too young to be dating, but some of his fans have claimed to have occasionally seen him spending time with his ‘elementary school sweetheart’; even though some claim that they might be dating, others still believe that Ravi’s too young for this, and that they’re only best friends.
Many of Ravi’s fellow actors and actresses have claimed that he’s down-to-Earth and highly sociable, finding it easy to befriend most of his colleagues. It’s also said that he has many friends at school, but Ravi’s yet to address all this.

Ravi enjoys being active on the internet; he’s posted nearly 800 pictures and videos onto his Instagram account, and over 12,000 people are following him today. He enjoys playing video games on PC and PlayStation 5 the most, and his favorites are “Fortnite: Battle Royale” and “God of War: Ragnarok”.
Ravi’s passionate about music, and his brother’s teaching him to play the guitar.
